It’s easy to make your name invisible on Instagram, but many new users may not know how to do it. There’s no shame in not knowing, especially when you are new to something. I still remember the first time I used social media – it was Friendster, if I remember correctly. I had no idea what I was doing and was completely clueless.
How to get invisible name on Instagram
But getting back to the topic at hand, here’s how to get an invisible name on Instagram:
- Generate and copy the invisible character from our tool here.
- Close this browser and open your Instagram app.
- Go to your Instagram profile page and tap on the ‘Edit Profile’ menu.
- On the ‘Edit Profile’ page, tap on the ‘Name’ field.
- Delete your name and paste the “invisible character” you copied earlier.
- Tap the check icon in the top right corner to save your changes.
- Tap the check icon again to exit the ‘Edit profile’ page.
If you have properly generated and paste the “invisible character”, your name should be blank on the profile page. If not, try again, please note – you can only change your name twice within 14 days.
So, in conclusion, all you have to do is go to the ‘Name’ field on your Instagram ‘Edit Profile’ page. Delete your name, and then paste the “invisible character” that you get from our website. Lastly do not forget to tap check mark or tick icon to save all your changes.

How can I get an invisible username on Instagram?
YOU CAN’T. Username and Name is different.
You can put symbols, emojis, blank character and other characters in the ‘Name’ field, but for the ‘Username’ field, there are rules and regulations about what characters can be used. Its because Instagram username is part of the URL, and it has to follow certain rule about link and on the internet.
As far as i know, Instagram only allow letters, numbers, periods and underscores for username. So, blank character or emoji for example, can not be used in username.
